Women’s Alliance voted unanimously on the distribution of $3700 to local and international causes. These included Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County, Child Haven Orphanages in India, Clara Barton Diabetic Camps, Crawford House for recovering women, Fistula Foundation, Mercer St. Friends Food Co-op, Murray Grove Summer Camp, Save the Children International, UNICEF, and the UU Service Committee.

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered to work on our Holly Marts and Sunday Brunches to raise these funds, and to all who supported our efforts!

The Alliance is taking a summer break in July and August. Come join us in the fall for delicious lunches, dynamic and timely speakers and good companionship. Save Thursday, Sept. 21 for our first fall luncheon with speaker Rev. Bill Neely.  All are welcome!
