Viewing of Harriet and discussion
Join the Congregation in viewing the 2019 movie, Harriet, which describes the inspirational story of Harriet Tubman and her escape from slavery. Harriet Tubman became a significant figure in the Underground Railroad leading other enslaved people to freedom. The film will be shown for the congregation on February 25th at 6 pm on zoom. Plan to eat dinner while watching and join a discussion after the film. Sponsored by the Racial Justice Task Force.

Dinner and Discussion with Princeton High School Students
You will also have a chance to join Princeton High School students (Leaders of Color for Change) for Dinner and Discussion of Harriet on Wednesday, March 10th at 6 pm.
This is part of a series of discussions for Princeton High School students and adults who discuss a recipe, watch short sections of the film and then discuss the film’s implications. Participation will provide a wonderful chance to join with the community. Registration is required.
