Belief is often thought to be the center of religion; belief often expressed in doctrine, affirmed in creed, taught in religious education, proclaimed in worship, and enlivened in the world. But what if religion was organized around devotion instead, asking, “To what are we devoted,” and “Where might that devotion lead us?”
