The columnist David Brooks has written of “resume virtues,” or the skills you bring to the marketplace, and “eulogy virtues,” which are the virtues people will share about you at your memorial service. Both ask us to consider how we live, and how we wish to be remembered by those we love. This service will include a Notes to the Dead ritual in which we’ll pen messages to our deceased loved ones and safely send them off in flame and ash. Our thanks to our UU Princeton Evergreen Chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans for leading the Notes ritual.
