As I prepare to take my leave of UU Princeton, I’m reminded by our June congregational theme of “beginnings” that, for new adventures to begin, first, there must be endings. In pastoral ministry, it is said that a proper ending is as important as a proper beginning. Luckily, grace abounds in this, my “home congregation” of twelve years, but that doesn’t mean saying goodbye will be easy. I’ve one last lesson to learn from you.
