On May 5, 1819, the Unitarian minister William Ellery Channing (after whom our Channing Hall is named), gave the sermon, Unitarian Christianity. Nicknamed The Baltimore Sermon, it was the clearest and most compelling explanation of Christian Unitarianism at the time, and it deeply influenced the development of the faith we hold today. 200 years later, how are we still who Channing described? How are we different? What is Channing’s wisdom for us today?
