Thank you to Elizabeth and Steve Silverman for successfully bidding on the item: “Select the Topic of a Sermon,” at the 2018 Fellowship Auction! This service is on the topic of their choosing, and they have chosen a compelling one: What makes Unitarian Universalism a “religion,” if we are one? Or are we a “movement?” A “faith,” perhaps?
These questions are considered at every level of Unitarian Universalism, from the highest levels of the denomination to the first impressions that visitors have of us. Rev. Bill looks forward to jumping into the conversation on Jan. 6. And don’t forget, do you have an idea for a sermon topic?
Be sure to bid on the same item at the 2019 Fellowship Auction on Saturday, Feb. 9!
And, all are encouraged to stay after the service for a Program Fair! Many of our ministries and groups will be present in Robinson Lounge so that you can learn more about how to become involved in our congregation. There’s something for everyone!
