Advent, the season before Christmas in the Christian calendar, marks time itself as holy. It asks us to slow down and approach with depth and gratitude each day that leads to Christmas rather than rushing through them toward the big celebration. What can Advent teach us about the spirit of the season? What can it teach us about the rest of the year, too?
