Classic Universalism believes that all lives end up in the eternal embrace of a loving God. Modern Universalism believes that love is the most powerful force in the universe; in life and in death. And both affirm that these beliefs are absolutely useless if not put into action in relationship with one another and the world. On this Sunday, let us celebrate the birth of American Universalism at Murray Grove on the coast of New Jersey by considering how we, today, can put Universal Love in Action.
