When facing deep hardships in life, faith offers courage and provides us with reasons to persevere. However, at such dark times, our faith may seem to falter. This Sunday, I invite us to see this as a strength. Without periodic questioning, our faith would be insincere.

Rev. Jane Smith began serving as minister of Channing Memorial Church, Unitarian Universalist, in Ellicott City, Maryland, in 2019. Prior to seminary, Jane became a Unitarian Universalist while attending UU Princeton, where she served as a Worship Associate, helped lead Young Adult ministries, and was an active member of our congregation. We’re pleased to welcome Jane back!
