For far too many years, colonizers, patriarchs, societal caste elites, the bourgeoise, and many others have attempted to define and label others’ identities. However, we contain communal and individual power to break these oppressive systems and define our own identity. Whether we are queer, a person of color, an immigrant, or one of the other numerous identities, we can find strength in the beauty of our identity. In fact, this mysterious love that unites us brings a common identity that we all share, beauty.
