Building and Grounds

Built in 1958, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton’s multi-use worship space is distinguished by its unique skylight in the sanctuary, visible to those driving by. The building is located on a 4-acre sanctuary of beauty on the outskirts of the historic university town of Princeton New Jersey, approximately 1.5 miles from downtown and 5 miles from the Princeton Junction train station.

All spaces are fully accessible, with an elevator connecting the lower and upper levels. The theater has a viewing room that allows people with difficulty navigating stairs to view and participate in events held there. There are room air conditioners in all rooms, and there are accessible restrooms, including single-use restrooms, on both levels.

The area around the church is meticulously landscaped, with a colorful native flower garden bisected by a riverstone pathway. This is the perfect backdrop for photographs and outdoor congregation. Surrounding the building is an abundance of preserved open space, including Billie Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve and John Whitherspoon Woods.
