The Hanging of the Greens Service is set for Sunday, December 15.
One of the highlights of the congregational year, this festive service decorates our worship space for the holidays and involves all of us in joy and celebration. That means that we need to collect greens the week before. If you can manage to donate a bundle or two of greens, and pinecones if you have them, we’d have enough to go around Channing Hall, bringing holiday joy to our worship and recognizing the participation and involvement of so many of us. So plan to bring your pines and your spruces, your firs and your cedars to our congregation for the Hanging of the Greens! You can drop off your greens from Sunday, December 8th through Friday, December 13th. Please leave them outside at the lower-level entrance to the Children’s Faith Development wing, at the end of the lower parking lot. Make it a joyous Hanging of the Greens service! Start your holidays off with a snip and a trip for our festive service. Many thanks! And don’t forget to attend the very special Hanging of the Greens Service on December 15!
