Art, Community, and Conversations @ UUCP
Quarterly art events sponsored by UUCP Racial Justice Task Force.

Please plan to attend and help out with UUCP’s Racial Justice Task Force Art, Community, And Conversation art reception on Friday, Jan 24, 6:30 – 8 pm. We will feature art by artists from the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)’s  A-TEAM artists’ cooperative and music by TASK’s FunkTASKtiks band. You can get a sneak peak at the art, which is now hanging on our walls throughout our building, and will remain there to enliven our space over the next few months.

This is the first quarterly art reception planned at UUCP. Other upcoming receptions will be May 22, Aug. 14, and Nov. 13. The events will benefit the artists and art work will be for sale. The event is sponsored by the Racial Justice Task Force, which is dedicated to engaging the congregation and larger community with opportunities to develop and deepen our understandings of and actions against racism.

We need your help to make this event successful! We need volunteers to donate food, drink, and supplies for the reception and to help out the day of the reception. We’ll also be looking for help and support for our “Art, Community & Conversation” brunches coming up on Feb. 2, March 1, and April 19.
